Prevalent AI raises $22M to expand its enterprise AI platform
Enterprise AI company Prevalent AI has raised $22 million in growth funding from Los Angeles-based Integrity Growth Partners (IGP). This marks the company’s first primary capital raise since it was founded nine years ago.
Founded in 2017 by Paul Stokes and Arun Raj, Prevalent AI has developed an AI-powered data platform that connects and organises information across different enterprise systems.
The company brings data from hundreds of enterprise sources into a continuously updated knowledge graph. This creates a shared layer of information that shows what data and systems are available, how they are connected and where gaps may exist.
Prevalent AI initially focused on cybersecurity, helping organisations make decisions using information spread across different systems, controls, identities and data sources. The company is now expanding this approach to other areas of the enterprise as businesses increasingly adopt AI systems and agents that rely on connected and reliable data.
According to co-founder and CEO Paul Stokes, large companies do not necessarily lack data or software, but often struggle to connect their information and provide the context needed to use it effectively. Prevalent AI first addressed this challenge in cybersecurity, where disconnected data can create operational risks.
As businesses introduce AI agents and automated systems, Prevalent AI aims to use its knowledge graph as a central source of enterprise context. This can help AI systems understand relationships between different types of data and support decision-making across multiple business functions.
The new funding will be used to strengthen the company’s sales, marketing, customer success and partnership teams, while supporting its expansion in the US. Prevalent AI also plans to extend its knowledge graph technology into wider risk and enterprise applications and further strengthen its leadership team.
