Robutler raises $400K from ZAS Ventures to build the ‘YouTube of software’
Robutler has raised $400,000 from ZAS Ventures, a US-based venture capital firm that invests in AI, SaaS, and robotics startups founded by Ukrainians. The investment was made across ZAS Ventures’ Fund I and Fund II and represents Robutler’s first institutional investment.
Robutler has built a public platform offering a shared library of professional-grade applications covering documents, presentations, design, video, engineering, whiteboards, project management, music, and games. All apps include real-time collaboration and are free to use.
The platform also allows makers to publish their own apps, while users can remix and improve existing applications. Makers can earn a share of the revenue generated when their apps are used, including alongside the creators of the original work they remixed.
"Think of Robutler as the YouTube of software," said Volodymyr Seliuchenko, Founder and CEO of Robutler.
"Here every app is free to use, and Robutler pays the makers whose apps get used, along with the makers they remixed from. It is a shift from renting software to a community building it together."
Behind the apps is the technology layer backed by ZAS Ventures. Robutler’s Web of Agents allows applications and AI agents to discover each other and collaborate using natural language. The platform also connects with external AI assistants and coding agents, including Claude and Codex.
The company has filed three patent applications covering agent discovery, trust ranking, and the app-usage attribution system used to distribute payouts to makers. Robutler has also published its TrustFlow research on arXiv and developed two open protocols, Agent OAuth and UAMP, designed to support agent identity and messaging across organisational boundaries.

Since 2023, ZAS Ventures has backed more than 25 companies across its two funds and was named Investor of the Year 2025 by the Ukrainian Startup Fund.
The firm aims to help create 30 Ukrainian-founded unicorns by 2034. Alongside funding, ZAS Ventures provides hands-on operational support and access to an advisor network to help founders secure customers across the US and EU.
