Italian cybersecurity startup CyberKord has secured €2.7 million in pre-seed funding to accelerate the development of its AI-driven platform for automating IT and cybersecurity operations. The funding round was led by 360 Capital, with additional backing from Plus Partners, Addendum Capital and Vento.

Established in Milan in 2026 by Alessandro Maggio, Dragos Tanasa and Cosimo Michelagnoli, CyberKord is building a platform that enables businesses to detect, investigate and fix IT and cybersecurity problems while reducing the need for manual intervention.

As businesses continue to expand their IT environments and integrate more software applications and AI agents, maintaining operational efficiency and security is becoming increasingly challenging. Although many existing security solutions can identify potential threats within minutes, addressing and resolving these issues can take much longer, often requiring significant involvement from IT and cybersecurity professionals. The growing frequency and speed of cyberattacks are further increasing the pressure on organisations to respond to incidents more quickly.

CyberKord aims to bridge the gap between identifying security threats and resolving them by automating tasks that traditionally require hands-on involvement from technical teams. Its platform combines artificial intelligence with a Digital Twin of a company's IT infrastructure to examine problems, simulate possible solutions and automatically carry out corrective measures.

Companies add infrastructure, software and AI agents every week, and operational work grows faster than any team. As a result, the time of expert professionals ends up in patches, access requests and incidents, one ticket at a time.
We built an artificial intelligence that does that work on its own, from start to finish, and shows every step. The team chooses how far to let it act and takes back time for architecture, projects and the decisions it was hired for,

says Alessandro Maggio, co-founder and CEO of CyberKord.

CyberKord's platform can trigger automated workflows in response to security alerts, IT support tickets or messages shared through communication tools such as Microsoft Teams and Slack. It investigates the root cause of each issue, tests potential solutions in a simulated environment and then implements the appropriate fix using the organisation's existing tools.

The solution connects with both cloud-based and on-premise IT environments, allowing businesses to adopt the technology without replacing their current infrastructure. Companies can also define how much decision-making authority their AI systems have, while every action is logged and remains available for review. By taking over repetitive operational tasks, CyberKord aims to free IT and cybersecurity teams to concentrate on improving infrastructure, managing strategic initiatives and handling decisions that require human expertise.

The latest funding will support further development of CyberKord's platform and the launch of initial pilot projects with large European enterprises across sectors such as manufacturing, technology, healthcare and telecommunications. The startup also plans to expand its workforce, with a particular focus on strengthening its technical and commercial teams.
